Working with Crimson Trace, Klecker Design was responsible for redesigning the Laser Module that was built into the S&W Bodyguard 380. The new design replaced the existing module, improved the quality, increased reliability and reduced the module cost by over 40%.
Taking the rough sketches provided, we design the AR15 Tool with a collection of unique tools and features never before attempted in a multi-tool. Many of these features were so well received that they went on to be released as individual tools as well.
Klecker Design worked with Steiner e-Optics and was responsible for completing a redesign of the DBAL-A4 not only creating the updated package design, but modifying it to allow for their first ever injection molded housing.
After a record breaking $12M Kickstarter, Coolest wanted to upgrade its Cooler so they reached out to Klecker Design. Our initial eight-hour study we conducted showed Coolest that we had the creativity and skill to not only design in a host of new features, but reduce the part count from 32 down to 12 while still adding features and reducing complexity. The results were spectacular.
Marvell is the premier supplier of software and PCBs for the 3D printing industry. Rather than keep "one of everything" around for testing, Klecker designed for them a complete FDM 3D printer from the ground up capable of interfacing with a range of development boards and software, eliminating the need for a customized test buck from every 3D printer maker in the market.
As part of a large team, Klecker was responsible for designing both the dispensing selector and a truly unique bean hopper system (seriously). We were able to reduce the design's complexity from 17 parts to 4, with the final design able to be assembled or disassembled by a barista, no longer requiring tools like the original design.
